Innovative development process
In the development of the prototypes for our towbars we work with state-of-the-art technology, such as CAD, FEM and laser scanning systems. In doing so, we always bear in mind the statutory provisions and also the high technical requirements on the part of the automotive industry, in order to produce excellent products both for towbars and electrical kits. In our plants process-parallel quality control is continuously carried out throughout the production to monitor our modern manufacturing technology and, in this way, we can ensure first-rate product quality for our customers.
Precise test procedures and production control
Before going into serial production all prototypes are subject to extensive safety tests in our test centre. We check the fatigue strength of our towbars on the basis of the European directives 94/20/EG, ECE R55 or the Carlos TC screening process. MVG towbars are tested for maximum tow load capacities and D-values in accordance with European standards. Further, our towbars have the E certification mark. With this General Operating Licence an approval by a Technical Inspection Agency or registration is not necessary. Our towbars are suitable for bicycle carriers.
